CAMO LORE and Definitions

As you spend time with CAMO, you’ll start to hear some words and phrases that may or may not mean their literally definition:

1: YUR GUUD: Affirmation, Used when you’re in a sketchy situation and the odds of catastrophe are low but you might hear pots and pans noises.

2: MOGO: Moons out Goons out: This was the name of a trip when we purposely covered ground at night. The spirit of the trip was to accelerate the pace with minimum stops into the night. The name became a class of CAMO trip.

3: Good weather: Adjective used to describe whatever the weather is for that day.

4: Wheels up at 0830: Nick grumpily sits in his truck from 0825 till 08:45 before randomly driving to the exit of camp while 4-5 others are still reconfiguring their Scottle setup in its storage container.

5: Not that bad: This is an offroad trail with 4×4 used 90% of the time.

6: Pretty tough: we were stuck in the same spot for 8 hours.

7: That was hard: The truck is still on its side.

8: Award Ceremony: Alex Clark playfully assigns accolades to the participants around the campfire.
