Central Appalachian Mountain Overland is the premier off-road, overland, and adventure family in the Eastern United States. Our beliefs and goals are simple: Enjoy what nature has blessed us with, support small businesses, respect our land, our parks, and our forests, build lasting friendships, and GET OUTSIDE. We adamantly believe that what we are doing is more than a hobby, and it is not “work” or a “job.” Therefore, Central Appalachian Mountain Overland refuses to turn profits from event goers. All ($5) Ticket sales will serve as a registration verification. The money generated from this small fee will be immediately reinvested back into C.A.M.O resources such as swag, maps, gear, and raffles. We will ruffle the feathers of the “Overland Industry” by refusing to profit off of nature and paid-for-friends. At times, donations to local parks or organizations (~$5) may be required to attend an event. As we grow, we will surely face criticism and questions regarding our legitimacy as we refuse to turn large profits, but money and friends don’t mix. Break it, Fix it, Send it, Repeat.
